Gibby’s Wine Den opened on March 24, 2005 at 2 p.m. Owners Randy and Jan Gibson had long searched for the perfect wine experience. Since meeting, wine had drawn them together. Through the years the ideal retail setting eluded them. One night, on a long walk, the concept for Gibby’s Wine Den was born. Travels around the country to other successful venues massaged the model. With those experiences, the environment that you can enjoy today was developed.
Who is Gibby? Randy’s dad was a football coach at Miami of Ohio and was affectionally called Gibby. Along came Randy and another man was named Gibby. It just seemed to fit!
Gibby’s Wine Den is a family owned business dedicated to participating in the community. Customer Service is an important ingredient. It is critical that each customer feel the attention to detail associated with their transaction. Whether selecting a personalized gift basket or ordering a Chardonnay with a hint of oak, the Gibby’s staff will make every attempt to exceed your expectations. It is our goal to set ourselves apart in the retail experience.
Gibby’s is also very event oriented. Jan has a clear vision when planning events. Wine, friends, relaxation, and food are all linked whether developing a private event or an event for the public.
